June 5 - Vindolanda Roman Fort

My last day in Britain was spent with my Grandad. We travelled to Vindolanda which is West of Newcastle and Tynemouth. Vindolanda was part of Hadrian's Wall that stretches right across the country from East to West.

June 4 - South Shields

The weather is now the exact opposite of the previous two days. Thursday and Friday had not a cloud in the sky, and was nice and warm. Today and tomorrow is supposed to be grey skies, cold, and windy. Darn it!!
