Linlithgow Palace
When I was planning out my trip I wasn't sure about the palace, but I'm very glad I visited it. I was really impressed with how well the palace has been preserved, and how interesting it was to look around in all the rooms and corridors.
Blackness Castle
My backpack is used for scale to show just how thick the castle walls are.
Blackness Castle was still in use until the end of World War 1. Adjacent to the castle are several modern military buildings.
